There are five areas for you to become directly involved with the Prince Edward-Hastings Habitat for Humanity Affiliate

1. Join the Volunteer Board

monthly meetings in the Belleville
some committee work each month
help expand the affiliate so we can build even more much needed housing in our region
Volunteers can offer to join the board at any time during the year after a brief selection process

2. Committee Volunteers

Join one of the many working committees of the board including: Communications, Family Selection, ReStore Operation, Finance, Site Selection, Volunteer, and Fund Raising.

3. ReStore Volunteers

The ReStore, a retail outlet for recycled and new building and home decorating supplies is located in Belleville and will need volunteer staff to work with a full-time paid store manager. Customer service, warehouse, salvage crew, fixing & repairing, and pricing.

4. Build Volunteers

During our 2008 build in Belleville, we will need a lot of help at the build site. Students and staff at Belleville's St Theresa Secondary School are taking the lead on the build. To volunteer call Melanie Flynn at 613-969-1415, email Melanie at ED@habitatpeh.org, or drop into the Prince Edward-Habitat for Humanity office at the ReStore, 393 Sidney Street, Belleville.

5. Make a donation

We have various plans for receiving financial or in-kind donations: one time, monthly options, planned giving, donations as a gift, etc. See the donations page for further details.

6. Privacy Policy

Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings respects the privacy of all volunteers, donors and members. We will use your information only for follow-up contacts, statistical purposes to process and recognize your commitment of time to our projects and keep you abreast of our future plans. We disclose your information only to our Board and Committee Member Volunteers and only to accomplish this purpose. Your personal information will not be shared with anyone outside Habitat for Humanity. If at any time you no longer wish to be contacted by Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings please call us at 613-969-1415 and we will be happy to remove you from our lists.
